Climate change is real

Climate change is real - it is happening right now all around us.

Renowned UC Berkeley Physics Professor and energy consultant Richard Muller has been known as a strong climate change sceptic for many years.

However, he has released a new study that proves that climate change is real and mainly caused by humans.

He wrote in the New York Times: "Call me a converted skeptic. Three years ago I identified problems in previous climate studies that, in my mind, threw doubt on the very existence of global warming.

"Last year, following an intensive research effort involving a dozen scientists, I concluded that global warming was real and that the prior estimates of the rate of warming were correct. Im now going a step further: Humans are almost entirely the cause."

This turnaround is based upon new analysis by the Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature project that shows the average temperature of the earths land has risen by two and a half degrees Fahrenheit over the past 250 years. It has increased by one and a half degrees in the past 50 years alone, as a result of the human emission of greenhouse gases.

The Carbon War Room is working extremely hard to combat climate change by empowering market-driven solutions. As its CEO President Jose Maria Figueres said: "There is no planet B."
