Celebrate your achievements

Came across a very interesting blog about entrepreneurs not recognising their own successes enough. The title caught my attention – You Are Not Richard Branson – but the message was a very good one.
It spoke of entrepreneurs undervaluing their own achievements, and feeling like they are failing. It also commented on different businesspersons needing different role models. I have had many role models throughout my life, and still discover new ones every day.
I completely agree that taking a risk and becoming an entrepreneur is an incredibly courageous thing to do, and it is entrepreneurs who can help get the economy on its feet.
In the first year of any business, survival should be the number one priority. It is important to celebrate all of your achievements, and remember to enjoy what you are doing. That way, more success is likely to come your way.
I've just written a new book distilling more than 40 years of experience and trying to come up with practical steps for entrepreneurs and people within companies to adopt to help them run and expand their businesses.
To give you a flavour of this, you can read the first chapter of Like A Virgin now.
