A wing and a prayer

Spent a relaxing morning enjoying a much-needed golfing lesson recently.

Here’s the twist: the tutor was golfing great Colin Montgomerie and the course was the wing of a Virgin Atlantic plane!

The wing has a very nice flat surface, so with a wing and a prayer I hoped I could get the ball in the hole!

This was all in honour of Golf Live, a fantastic event that offers the public the chance to get up close and personal with the world's best golfers. We have a lot of keen golfers fly with us so it seemed perfect to get involved.

Golf Live will be held at the London Golf Club on May 18th-20th. If you go along, be sure to visit the Virgin Atlantic and Flying Club Swingers stand, you might just win some free flights. And don't forget - golf clubs go free!
