A day in Delhi

Spent the day in Delhi launching a new entrepreneur scheme that aims to bring together the best of British and Indian business.
Virgin Atlantic had flown over a trade delegation of British and Indian business people who are investing in the country. The British High Commissioner Julian Evan was kind enough to host us at his home. We met with a group of entrepreneurs including young people from Virgin Media Pioneers, and discussed how to connect emerging business opportunities between the two markets.

There is nothing more inspirational than seeing how your business idea could evolve in a different culture or continent. This trip enables young business people to glean local knowledge of the best way to operate in India from local like-minded entrepreneurs. Do you have any more ideas on how to connect businesses in different markets?

Also enjoyed a chat with all the guests, which you can watch over on CNBC soon. Tomorrow we fly to Mumbai to launch Virgin Atlantic's new route to London. Though feeling slightly under the weather (trying not to shake too many hands in case anybody catches my cold. And that's Lemsip in that glass, honest!) that won't stop us enjoying what promises to be a great celebration.
