Brave rescue at sea

There are many everyday heroes who we turn to in times of disaster. Yesterday we saw countless heroes - fire fighters, police officers, public transit workers, emergency teams, neighbours - who helped those affected by the deadly super storm Sandy. The Coast Guard is just one group that came to the rescue. Watch this incredible video of the Coast Guard rescuing 14 people from the HMS Bounty, the replica of a large ship that was featured in films including Mutiny on the Bounty, Treasure Island…

Stay safe during Hurricane Sandy

Sending best wishes to everyone dealing with Hurricane Sandy. While thankfully we survived Hurricane Irene last year on Necker, it did destroy our home. What an enormous challenge he has and may the necessary countries that need to come on board to bring about peace there move quickly to avert the suffering. One day it is inevitable that this would be resolved by elections possibly overseen by the UN. The sooner that day comes about, the sooner the misery and suffering can be put …
