What kind of world do we want for our great-great-grandchildren?
That is the question being asked by The Elders are they launch their new Elders+Youngers initiative.
In the video above, Elders Desmond Tutu, Gro Brundtland, Fernando Henrique Cardoso and Mary Robinson debate with four young activists – Marvin, Esther, Pedro and Sara – to find new ways of thinking on the most urgent issues facing our planet today.
The Elders wrote: "In June 2012, world leaders are coming together in Rio for a summit on sustainable development. Their actions – or inactions – will shape this planet for generations to come."
Good jobs? Clean air? Food security? What do you want that world to look like for our great-great-grandchildren? Join the debate with Elders+Youngers.
