In a recent article by CN Traveler, Richard Branson revealed his top advice as to what we can all do to save the planet.
According to the Virgin Group Founder, who was named one of CN Traveler’s 2012 Visionaries, everyone should try and: “Make smart lifestyle decisions with our planet’s health in mind: Our planet’s health affects out health and our children’s health.”
As well as the direct health effects and benefits from planet protection, Branson spoke of the responsibility that we all hold to take action - from individuals, to families, companies and governments: “In Rio+20, governments could have agreed to get rid of fossil fuel subsidies and to protect and monitor oceans, which wouldn’t have cost money but would contribute to profitable fishing industries and healthier oceans. While their inaction was shameful, people - through community-led initiatives and businesses - are cleaning up our planet.”
