The Savory Institute, one of the 11 current Virgin Earth Challenge finalists, have made it onto the shortlist of brilliant groups for Katerva’s 2012 people’s choice award.
It’s truly inspiring to see organisations like Katerva taking on these big global challenges and creating worldwide platforms for change. They are helping to responsibly realize and roll-out ideas that can help people and the planet achieve a brighter future. And obviously it’s fantastic to see the Savory Institute recognised as just such an opportunity.

The Savory Institute are one of 11 finalists in the Virgin Earth Challenge (VEC), a science and innovation competition offering a $25m prize for scalable, sustainable ways of removing greenhouse gases from the air. The 11 finalists showed great potential to get to a winning point in the near future.
