My friends and I joke that the only time we really get to see one another is at conferences - and that is certainly the case for SxSWeco. Coming off the heels of the hugely popular SxSw - this more environmentally-minded sister conference invites some of the best and brightest start-ups and people from the public, private and academic sectors.
Though sometimes conferences can be a bit of a stale environment - I find the conversations that happen on the corners of the days are the ones that are the most stimulating - and often lead to some very long-lasting partnerships. If you have an opportunity to go, stay around for October 5th for our panel of Sustainable Fashion: From Visibility to Viability. We’re collecting a wide variety of voices whom I truly admire from the (re)design movement.
And for those of you still getting to know me on the Virgin People and Planet blog, we cut together this little sizzler reel below to give you some of the past highlights and future outlook on the adventures to come.
Next stop: Cyprus.
