CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) programs have become quite popular in America. Even with over 5,000 CSAs there is still a growing demand for locally-grown fruit and vegetables.
Sharedearth.com was set up to help put people with land in touch with people who want to garden. Over 80% of US households have lawns and spend $45BN maintaining those lawns a year.
Seeing that one acre of land can generate up to $75,000/year in produce, it might be a wise idea to share a piece of earth with someone who's looking to grow some good, wholesome fruit and veggies.
