Princess Beatrice and Holly Branson have spoken about overcoming the challenge of scaling the summit of Mont Blanc.
The duo appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning to discuss the Big Climb, which they took on to launch Big Change Charitable Trust.
They climbed Western Europe’s tallest peak, alongside a team including Richard Branson and Sam Branson. Sam’s fiancée Isabella Calthorpe, Sam Richardson and Phil Nevin also took on The Big Climb.
In the latest issue of HELLO! magazine, the team gave the whole story of how they managed the incredible feat. Beatrice commented:
“The summit was like a dream. It was so overwhelming I began to cry with joy for making it to this magical world at the top of Europe.”
Meanwhile, Richard Branson blogged on the Big Climb, recalling how he agreed to take on the challenge as he is "not known as Dr Yes for nothing!"
Head over to Hello! for the full story and catch up on Princess Beatrice and Holly Branson's appearances on BBC iPlayer.
