Excellence in nature at Virgin Wines

Have you ever wondered what’s behind your bottle?

Virgin Wines has been working for a number of years with Chilean wine producer, Emiliana, to support their vision of achieving excellence in nature.

Not only has their estate in Los Robles been certified as Carbon Neutral, along with several of its wines including Coyam, it has also developed various recycling and waste management policies, is using solar panels to generate hot water, biofuel to run its tractors and is using environmentally friendly packaging including glass bottles which are 14% lighter than normal.

By addressing these 'pressing' sustainability issues, Emiliana has won a number of awards including the 'Best Green Launch' at the 2011 Drinks Business Green Awards.
