Download music & do good with Virgin Unite & Fairsharemusic.com

Virgin Unite has announced a new partnership with a music download site that is helping charities.

The non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group has joined other leading charities to partner with Fairsharemusic.com, the music download store where the music you buy really does make a difference.

Fairsharemusic.com has much in common with other music download sites, with over 16 million tracks, the latest releases and prices starting at 79p per track. However, the difference is that for every download you purchase, it donates half the profit to your chosen charity. The more you download, the more money goes to charity.

Lee Cannon, Co-founder of Fairsharemusic.com said he was delighted with the new partnership with Virgin Unite.

He commented: "At Fairsharemusic.com we've make it simple for people to give directly to a cause through something they're passionate about - you download, we donate. Music is the soundtrack to our lives, so why not use it to improve the lives of others."

Jean Oelwang, CEO Virgin Unite added: "We love the idea of fairsharemusic, an organisation that does good and also gives people the chance to enjoy the gift of music.

"Virgin Unite is committed to ensuring that funds donated give marginalised young people the opportunity for a brighter future."
