Congratulations to everyone at Viña De Martino who have been chosen as “Winery of the Year” by the Wines of Chile association!
They scooped the top prize at the annual gala dinner held in Santiago at the end of November. De Martino were recognised for their sustainability and innovation work, which includes becoming amongst the largest organic wine producers in Chile, being the first certified carbon-neutral vineyard in South America and making big commitments to measuring their water footprint.
“We have always sought the highest standards of quality for our wines, but at the same time have never compromised in our deep respect for the vineyards and their surrounding environments. This is part of our philosophy and this recognition confirms that we are on the right path in terms of our project of ecological innovation and sustainability”, explains Marco Antonio, Commercial Manager at De Martino.
