Bright ideas at Virgin Balloon Flights

As part of Virgin Balloon Flights’ Green Office Plan, they asked staff in their monthly newsletter to come up with some simple ideas for making their little red office a bit greener.
They had some great ideas including one from Customer Service Representative Carrie-Ann Starling, who suggested using white boards rather than notepads for all their call centre staff – ingenious!!
The new white boards have now been implemented and will save them around 150 notepads a year, which is a huge 7,500gms of paper.
Some of the other suggestions included bicycle parks and a car share scheme, which they hope to implement in the near future.
Well done to Virgin Balloon Flights for engaging with all their staff and taking action!
