Virgin Wines extends Tasting Programme

Wine tasting in Scotland for Virgin Wines

Calling all wine connoisseurs - Virgin Wines has launched its national wine tasting programme for 2011.

The wine tasting programme will visit more cities than ever before, starting with an event in Cardiff on March 3rd and ending in Nottingham on November 10th.

In between, there will be wine tasting sessions in Bristol, Birmingham, Belfast, Reading and Sheffield - as well as in established wine tasting locations London, Manchester, Norwich, Leeds and Edinburgh.

At the wine tasting events customers will have the chance to meet the winemakers and Virgin Wines' personal wine advisers and buyers.

What's more, customers who place an order on the day will receive the ticket price (from 10 - 15) off the total price of their order, as well as a complementary bottle of red or white wine.

And, of course, there will be the chance to taste a wide selection of wines from all over the world.

Jay Wright, Managing Director of Virgin Wines, said that the wine tasting programme will build on the success of last year's events.

He commented: "We are very excited to be visiting both Wales and Northern Ireland for the first time, along with a number of cities in the Midlands and Southern England.

"Wine tastings are a great way for us to meet with our customers and show them our range of wines."
