Well how on Earth did I find myself having a cosy wee chat with Queens Of The Stone Age backstage at the Melbourne VFestival? All in the name of virgin.com/music - bringing you exclusive material only an access-all-areas VIP pass could grant. So here you have it, me with QOTSA, fresh from the plane to Melbourne and about to go on stage and rock the masses. I was frankly a bit overwhelmed with the kind of awe that only genuine rock legends could inspire. How nervous was I? Very. Does it show? Probably. Did the thought that thousands of you would have killed to sit nestled in between these rock gods and probe them with a variety of intimate questions fill me with that Spiderman-like sense of 'with great power comes great responsibility'? Oh yes. I probably didn't do justice but, good people of the worldwide web, I just did the best I could. And I hope you like.
