Summer's already here - well, it is in the world of The Days, which is fine by us. These lads from Devon are about to be unleashed on to the scene and I barged my way to the front of the queue to meet them and judge their prospects for myself. They capture the sound somewhere between that which McFly have being trying in vain to nail and Supergrass had at their most popular. But these Dartmoor-dwelling boys are no mere teenage popsters, spotted by Fierce Panda and now signed to Atlantic, they preach musicality and boast of lofty industry-conquering ambitions which they truly believe they'll achieve. Their journey was already underway last year when they bagged the support slot on Scouting For Girls' tour and now they're headlining in their own right. Watch the interview for a peak at the video to their new single No Ties which already has us pining for the far off festival season. But hey, pish and balderdash - what do I know?
