The Rolling Stones finished their ’50 & Counting’ series of shows in style this weekend, as the band were joined on stage by a host of stars at Newark’s Prudential Center.
The concert, which was watched live by thousands via a live pay-per-view stream, saw Lady Gaga pair with Mick Jagger for a rousing rendition of ‘Gimme Shelter’, before The Black Keys joined the Stones for ‘Who Do You Love’ while Bruce Springsteen’s appearance for 'Tumbling Dice' brought the house down.
The band were also joined by former member Mick Taylor and rock star John Mayer for the twenty song set, before embarking on a three track encore. ‘Satisfaction’, ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’ and ‘You Can’t Always Get What You Want’, the latter being performed with the help of a full choir, saw the night end on a high.

The Rolling Stones started off their series of live dates, which have been promoted by new global touring company Virgin Live, in London before heading to New York. They also performed a series of intimate live shows in Paris last month, as they prepared for their comeback.
Saturday’s show is still available to stream, to find out more about this and the tour head over to The Rolling Stones website.
