Preparations for V Festival 2012 are drawing to a close, with stages erected and campsite lawns mowed ahead of this weekend’s action.
Both Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Staffordshire’s Weston Park have been getting the V treatment, for what promises to be one of the summer's most spectacular festivals.
Last minute line-up news has seen US R ‘n’ B star Frank Ocean make way on the bill for UK grime king Wiley, in the wake of throat troubles.

Weston Park's Virgin Media Stage gets ready to have the roof raised (not for the only time this week, we're sure)...
...meanwhile over at Hylands Park the 4Music stage has the finishing touches put to it...
...and of course the campsites aren't to be forgotten, they're looking just about ready for our tents!
