Eleetmusic: Jet Horns

Here is the first Virgin Top Music Blog from eleetmusic.

I can't wait for the snowy season to end. It's not that I'm ungreatful for the cold weather, but I've long discovered that making snow angels aren't as amusing as they used to be. Instead I find myself indoors, scouring of the mounds of new music on Fairtilizer, praying for that one lonely track to ignite my internal flames. [Not like that. Get your mind out of the gutter.]

Just recently I stumbled across the sizzling new electro pop outfit called, Jet Horns. The one man band, Jon Von Letscher, creates an alternate world of magical mystery on his latest EP, "Onward Space Hologram". He describes the record as, "...a direct representation of my dream projector, focused on an outer space scene including birds, lovers, islands and powdered nutrition".

As if that wasn't visual enough to draw you into his world, Jon is also an exceptional painter. I found these works below along with many other interesting pieces on his website.

On Friday, February 12th, Jet Horns will be playing at The Highball in Austin for 101X fm's Homegrown Live. I'll be there in spirit only becuase of snowy conditions that resulted in airplane delays at Newark International Airport this week.  I'm living vicariously through you Jon. Make them feel good.

Stream the full EP here.
