Race the pros at Cyclone 2013

Virgin Money have revealed that Team IG Sigma Sport have signed up for the 2013 Virgin Money Cycle Tyne 6 Bridges family and beginner ride, meaning all those taking part will have the chance to ride alongside professional cyclists.
In addition to offering hints and tips to riders in the run up the event, pros from Team IG Sigma Sport will join in with the 4,000-strong Cyclone Challenge mass participation rides on Saturday 29 June.
“Our riders love the stunning scenery and the warm welcome they always get riding in the North East. What better way for them to prepare for the Virgin Money Cyclone weekend’s racing than to get out for a ride and share their love of cycling?” Commented Team IG Sigma Sport Cycling Team general manager Becky Frewing.
The Cyclone weekend takes place from 27 to 30 June 2013 in and around Newcastle and Northumberland. The weekend opens with the beginner and family-oriented 9.5 and 14.5 mile Tyne 6 Bridges rides along the banks of the River Tyne.
