Virgin Mobile Polska has landed! Virgin’s latest mobile company has today launched, seeing the Virgin Group’s presence increase to 35 countries across the world.
There are currently almost 20 million Virgin Mobile customers, with its reach spreading to countries including Australia, the United States, South Africa and Canada.
The start of this year saw Virgin Mobile Latin America launch, resulting in Virgin Mobile Chile and the soon to launch Virgin Mobile Colombia. This was followed by Virgin Mobile Central and Eastern Europe, which will see Virgin Mobile enter a number of new European countries.
According to Virgin Mobile, their recent shift in focus to central and eastern Europe has been brought about by the poor service currently offered to users by existing network operators.
“We have been watching the development of the Central and Eastern European mobile telecommunication markets for years and we are convinced the Polish market is now ready for an operator like Virgin Mobile Polska” explained Kristian Myrup, CEO of Virgin Mobile Central and Eastern Europe.
“We will bring first class service to a market where Pre-Pay customers have been treated like second class citizens.”
