Virgin Mobile holiday re-gifts

Virgin Mobile Canada is offering the re-gift that keeps on giving this festive season.

While there are lots of amazing gifts people are hoping for this holiday season, we all know the feeling of getting another scarf from Aunt Rita. Now that scarf doesn’t have to go to waste with Virgin Mobile’s RE*Gift for RE*Generation program.

Spread some holiday love by giving those unwanted gifts to someone in need and get a little something back (on top of the good karma): Virgin Mobile is offering all re-gifters a $50 accessory credit.

From December 26th to 31st 2010, Virgin Mobile will take all your unwanted and unused gifts at select Virgin Mobile stores across Canada and donate them to at-risk and homeless youth programs.

Nathan Rosenberg, Chief Marketing Officer, Virgin Mobile Canada, said: "Sure, they say it’s better to give than receive, but we think it’s best when you give and receive.

"We’re giving Canadians the easy way out of those gifts they don’t want by putting them to good use to help at-risk youth.  Now that’s what I call a happy holiday!"

Virgin Mobile Canada are asking for the following items to re-gift: hoodies and sweatshirts, jackets, DVDs and CDs, board games, shoes, headphones, hats, gloves and scarves.

To find out where to re-gift in Canada, go to Virgin Mobile, where you can also find out more about the RE*Generation.

The RE*Generation is Virgin Unite, the non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group, and Virgin Mobile’s effort to empower a generation to help its own by bringing together organizations that care about Canada's at-risk and homeless youth and connecting them with people who want to help.
