Virgin Media have announced the arrival of a new TiVo app inspired by award winning entrepreneur and member of the Virgin Media Pioneers community, Zoe Jackson.
The pioneering new dance app has been designed for Virgin Media TiVo customers who love dance, giving them the ability to shake on down with video performances from some of the top names in the dance industry including, Flawless, Chris and Wes, Abyss, Boy Blue, Alleviate, Unity UK and Masters of Motion.
Dancing divas amongst Virgin Media’s TiVo customers will be able to brush up on their dance skills or learn all new moves through dance classes available on demand, covering a wide range of styles including street dance, contemporary and hip hop.
The Living the Dream app launches on Wednesday June 13th and features interviews with some of the dancing world’s finest choreographers and leading dancers plus behind the scenes footage from popular reality dance shows, west end productions, premieres and worldwide dance competitions.
Zoe Jackson, Managing Director of Living The Dream said: “We’re really excited about launching our very own app and reaching hundreds of thousands of Virgin Media customers.
"As well as providing great entertainment, our dedicated TiVo app is a great way to get more people off the sofa and dancing in their living rooms, whether they’re keen dancers or simply looking for a way to keep fit, there’s something for everyone."
Aleks Habdank, Director of Digital Entertainment at Virgin Media said, “We’re extremely proud of the success of our Virgin Media Pioneers community and it’s been a pleasure working with Zoe to develop this app. The flexibility of our TiVo service allows us to champion the creative industries, giving them the platform to reach hundreds of thousands of living rooms across the UK. Providing new interactive services and bespoke content through apps allows us to cater for all of our customers’ telly tastes.”
"It’s been a pleasure working with Zoe to develop the app and has given us the opportunity to once again champion the success of young entrepreneurs from our Pioneers community.”
Zoe and performing arts company Living the Dream came to the attention of Virgin Media last year through Virgin Media Pioneers, the online community for aspiring entrepreneurs. She was selected by Richard Branson to help him with his Control Shift campaign, and was instrumental in persuading the Government to introduce the Youth Enterprise Scheme to support the next generation of entrepreneurs.
