Virgin Media have announced that Olympic hero Mo Farah has signed a new deal with the company, which will see him appear in a television advertising campaign.
Following the athlete’s double gold medal winning performance at London 2012 Farah appeared in a series of print adverts, as he donned Richard Branson’s famous blonde goatee.
"After delivering a stellar performance in the Olympic Games, Mo has found a special place in all of our hearts and is a fully fledged national hero. We're absolutely delighted to be working with him,” explained Jeff Dodds, Virgin Media executive director of brand and marketing communications.

"Like Mo, we are also obsessed with speed, particularly broadband speed. Mo will join our other sponsored athlete Usain Bolt in ensuring that Virgin Media inspires the nation to 'keep up'."
Farah last week joined the Virgin Group Founder (both pictured above) at London’s Royal Opera House, as the pair supported the Virgin Media Pioneers' ‘Impatience Is A Virtue’ event.
