Netflix praises Virgin Media speeds

Virgin Media has come out on top of an ISP raking polling released by Netflix, the leading streaming TV and film service.
The list was headed by Virgin Media, who came in with an average speed of 2.16 Mbit/s, with O2 and BT following in second and third place respectively.
"Our 30 million members view over a billion hours of Netflix per month and we use all of the data associated with their experiences to compare ISPs in terms of real world performance," explained Joris Evers, director of Global Corporate Communications at Netflix.
"These relative rankings are a good indicator of the consistent performance typically experienced across all users on an ISP network and a great way to see which ISPs offer the best Netflix experience."
