Virgin Unite creates new jobs

Virgin Unite is on the lookout for new employees, in both London and New York, as part of a fresh recruitment drive. The not for profit organisation is following in the footsteps of Virgin Galactic and Virgin America, who both this week announced plans to recruit new members of staff.
The new roles, which include Community Director, Events and Investor Relations Manager, Business Development Director and Business Action Director, require a certain set of skills and passion – something that Virgin Unite have been keen to get across to any prospective candidates.
“We connect people and entrepreneurial ideas to make change happen. We focus on the most difficult gaps and listen and learn from the people that are impacted by the issues (and who usually have the solutions). We’ve been built on the philosophy that business can and must be a force for good in the world.”
It’s been a busy year for Virgin Unite and Richard Branson as their mission to Screw Business as Usual gathers pace, a perfect example coming earlier this week with the Virgin Group founder being joined by Unite ambassador Corey Monteith in Canada to announce increased funds for youth action groups.
