Virgin Produced have just completed a television special aired in over 20 countries for Coca-Cola for their new mobile phone game aiming to help end mother to child transmission of AIDS by 2015.
‘Making the Game for (RED)’ chronicles the behind-the-scenes development of (THRED) and will air on the Virgin Produced Channel aboard Virgin America this February.
(THRED), created in conjunction with Coca-Cola and the AIDS charity (RED) is available now in the App Store and will help raise money for The Global Fund to fight not only AIDS but Tuberculosis and Makaria also.
Deborah Dugan, CEO of (RED) said: “(RED) aims to give people as many ways as possible to join the fight against AIDS. With the launch of (THRED), people can make an impact with the touch of a button while playing a game they’ll love.”
In the game, players dodge obstacles, collect power-ups whilst navigating their way through a an abstract 3D world of technological walls, ever-shifting obelisks and living dragon-like gateways.
The game soundtrack too comes to life as artists Tiësto, DJ Poet and TOKiMONSTA donate various tracks to the soundscape throughout the game.
The (THRED) game is now vailable for free from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
