A list of the top 100 social brands has seen a strong Virgin Group presence, with Virgin Trains, Virgin Money and Virgin Atlantic all being recognised in the Social Brands 100 list. The Virgin brands were joined by the likes of Tate, Starbucks, Cancer Research UK and Manchester City Football Club in the list.
The authoritative ranking of those brands which take the lead in the social age was compiled by analysing the relative performance in social spaces of the hundreds of brands that were nominated, with their impact on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Foursquare and more being measured by social data analytics specialist Brandwatch and Headstream.
An expert panel of industry judges will now provide the final elements of the Social Brand Score for those shortlisted, creating a full ranking to be announced in May.
Have any of your favourite social brands been missed out? Let us know by leaving a comment in the box below, you can see the entire 100 by visiting the Headstream blog.
