Virgin Group founder Richard Branson recently joined Virgin America staff members to take part in the airline's Refresh programme.
The unique two day event took place in San Francisco and served as an innovative form of training for Virgin America staff.
In typical Virgin fashion Refresh is a unique idea in the airline industry, taking place on an annual basis. every teammate in the Company is required to head back to headquarters to focus on perfecting the guest experience.
Branson joined the workforce as they took part in team-work exercises, conflict resolution training, emotional intelligence training as well as a whole host of other exercises. The sessions were kept lively with games and role playing, with Branson only too happy to join in.
Refresh is run in addition to the airline’s rigorous safety, security and medical training, ensuring the best possible passenger experience.
