Richard Branson to be flight attendant

Richard Branson is set to serve as a flight attendant on an AirAsia X flight next year, all in the name of charity.

In February 2011, Richard Branson will cross-dress on a London Stansted to Kuala Lumpur flight to fulfil his side of a bet with Tony Fernandes.

Richard Branson made the bet with Tony Fernandes over whose Formula One team would finish higher in this season's standings – Virgin Racing or Lotus.

On Twitter, Fernandes wrote: "It's confirmed February 21, 2011. Richard Branson will be a crew of AirAsia X."

Seats on the flight will be auctioned off for charity.

Virgin Racing are set to take their place on the grid for a second year in Formula 1 next season.
