This was Leopard Lady's first experience with Dragonette live and it came with an outcry of LOVE... okay, so the outcries were from Leopard Lady's good friend who has the great taste in music, Mr Pirovich (please refer to LL blog: Star spotting: starring Roisin Murphy)... but these outcries started a small wave which continued to grow and Dragonette had totally seduced their crowd at Parklife.

Was it the wiley ways of utterly gorgeous Martina Sorbara or the too-coolness of the Bass player(Martina's partner, incidentally) Dan Kurtz? The band together are such a solid pop act that oozes sensuality and edgy chic. Leopard Lady was loving her up-close-and-personal position for the Dragonette stage that she and Mr Pirovich had.

These London-based Canadians have been associated with some exciting artists, including Cyndi Lauper (they wrote a song with her on her new album), Basement Jaxx (Martina actually sang with them under the name Martina Bang), Fiest (Dan wrote a song for her), and Duran Duran (they toured the U.S. together). These connections give an idea of the uber radness of Dragonette.
