A survey of over 2,000 British workers has revealed that Virgin is the most desireable employer brand to work for, with the company beating the likes of Apple, Google and the BBC.
The Virgin Group, who topped the first Reed.co.uk Brand Index, also beat off competition from companies such as British Airways, Microsoft, John Lewis and BT. The survey also revealed that people think of Virgin as an ‘admired’, ‘credible’, ‘innovative’ and ‘helpful’ brand.
As well as brands the poll looked at attitudes towards individual company heads, with Richard Branson being described as both ‘knowledgeable’ and ‘innovative’, whilst being particularly popular with those between the ages of 35 and 54.
