Welcome to Business Stripped Bare

I'd love to be able to write a daily blog, but I fear that it would take a lot more self-discipline and hours in my day than I currently have to do it justice! But I have spent a good deal of my time over this past year putting my new book, Business Stripped Bare, together. So I thought that rather than trying to keep a day to day diary of my rather chaotic and unpredictable life I'd concentrate on the subject of entrepreneurial business - after all, that's what got me here in the first place!
So in this blog I'm going to share with you some themes from Business Stripped Bare that I hope will give you an insight into how we've grown the Virgin Group over the past 38 years. It's been an amazing journey in many ways. Please feel free to comment, share your own business stories and insights that you feel may be beneficial to others visiting the site. I can't promise to respond to all your comments but I'm hoping that some of my entrepreneurial colleagues at Virgin may be able to help me out here. They have many stories that they can add of their own - I couldn't have achieved all that I have without them.
I have also invited several business people and entrepreneurs from around the world to contribute – to share many of the business principles which have led to their own great successes.
I hope that over time this blog and all of its contributors, yourselves included, will provide a valuable tool in sharing what makes good business practice and how, as entrepreneurs, we might learn from each other how to succeed and make a difference – in business and in life.
