What do you love about your job?

Starting 2013 on a positive note, the Virgin Media Pioneers team are asking people to share one thing they love about their job or career. So, what’s yours?

Pioneers have recruited artist George The Poet to kick things off, as he reveals what he enjoys most about his careers is the freedom to tackle any topic with his poetry whilst engaging with an audience of young people.

While Richard Branson has gone on record as saying what he loves about his career as an entrepreneur is the opportunity it gives him to be creative. “From the time that I created my first magazine or first record company, I just wanted to create things that I could be proud of. Money was just an evil byproduct to pay the bills at the end of the year.

“Most entrepreneurs are not doing it for financial motives in the first place. They're just people who love creating.”

Although rather worryingly a recent survey of American employees found that 60% would choose a different career path, claiming that they were not currently engaged with their jobs.

Where do you stand? Is there something you love about your job or will 2013 be a year of change for you? Let us know below or head over to Virgin Media Pioneersto join in their debate.
