So far this week as part of our Global Entrepreneurship Week coverage we’ve gone from England to Canada, via South Africa, as we search for the best budding business minds. Today’s stop takes us to the Caribbean, to visit the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship.
The Virgin Unite and Virgin Holidays joint initiative has helped local entrepreneurs thrive and acted as a launch pad for many successful businesses. As CEO Lisa Lake explains, there’s one common thread that runs right through the heart of everything they do:
“The most important thing for an entrepreneur is passion, it’s something that we look for in all of our candidates. Businesses come and go but an entrepreneur who has the passion to keep on going and survive the failures is one that’s really in it for the long haul.”
