The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship, South Africa, has announced plans for Johannesburg’s first ‘Open For Business Festival’.
The aim of the festival is to create a platform for young businesses to create new networks and grow, with small businesses and entrepreneurs being encouraged to come and market their goods.
There’s also an opportunity for those who impress to become the next Branson Centre ambassador, receiving free business training, mentoring, practical advice and a fun goodie bag.
Three Open for Business events are planned in the city. The first kicks off at the Katlehong Art Centre on September 8th at 15:00. There will be fun entertainment for the community and one participating small business owner will be chosen to join the Branson Centre and receive invaluable training, one-on-one mentoring and business tools to help them grow – at no cost to them.
All local entrepreneurs are invited to market their business to their communities and help drive sales.
