Entrepreneurial Trash 2 Art

Ex students from the The Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship Caribbean are currently setting up a project help children in Jamaica’s poorest city, Riverton.

‘Trash 2 Art’ run by Xavier Bedasee and Leanne Talbot of Island Cycle, will run a six week project aiming to provide the children in the community with access to a fully equipped art studio where they will recycle trash and create incredible art.

At the end of the six weeks, the art produced will then be sold to create revenue for them and their community which surrounds the largest landfill in Jamaica.

The centre is currently asking for funds which they’re raising via crowd-funding website, Select 6. Read more about the Trash to Art project and donate to the programme.
