Become a Branson Centre mentor

Are you an experienced business leader and entrepreneur? Are you passionate about business and can give 1-2 hours a month to share what you know and make a difference to a young entrepreneur?

If the answer to those questions is an empathic yes, then The Caribbean's Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship has just the opportunity for you. The Centre is inviting experienced entrepreneurs to come and join their team, as they help build up the next generation of budding business minds.

The Virgin Unite and Virgin Holidays joint initiative has helped local entrepreneurs thrive and acted as a launch pad for many successful businesses.

Why is mentoring important for the entrepreneurs?

• The Branson Centre approach to the development of entrepreneurial skills is practical and experiential. Mentoring accelerates learning and the development of entrepreneurs by having focused conversations rather than simply learning how to apply theory to practice.

• Mentoring keeps the mentee focused on the business priorities, goals and sustainability of the business.

• It builds resilience to help the mentee meet the challenges of a growing business.

• Starting a business can sometimes be a lonely activity. Mentors can listen, encourage and give a little tough love when needed, making the difference between growth and stagnation.

Three times a year the centre accepts 20 entrepreneurs into their programme, these young entrepreneurs require support and guidance as they look to find their feet in the business world. If you think you’ve got what it takes to provide this, you can find out more information over at the Branson Centre website.
